30 Aug 09 No More Live Chat Buddy, says Gossimer

Browns Mills, NJ (PRWEB) August 28, 2009 – One of the World’s fastest growing web hosting and domain name registration company, Gossimer has decided to discontinue its Live Chat Feature. The company spokesperson has told that the step has been taken to remove non-core items from the portfolio.

“Gossimer is growing pretty fast, and we are getting more and more customers every day, and catering to the growing demands of all customers was a big challenge. Hence we decided to shed some non-core items. Unfortunately, Live chat was chosen,” said Marvin Dryer, who looks after product planning and marketing communication divisions of Gossimer.

No new Live Chat accounts will be accepted from the coming week, but the existing customers of Live Chat can continue to use this service. The support will be extended to the existing customers of Live Chat.

The decision to remove Live Chat from its bouquet was not an easy decision for the company, as this product was giving a fair return. Live Chat has been discontinued only because it was not fitting into the existing business strategy of Gossimer.

“It was hard for us to decide, but eventually we had to do something, and Live Chat had to go. We could not risk Gossimer’s annihilation by thinly spreading our resources,” said Mr. Dryer explains the company’s move.

“Gossimer is now concentrating its resources more on web hosting, email hosting and domain name registration, as well as reseller services,” he quickly added.

The recent product launches and price revisions by Gossimer have already indicated the industry about the company’s intention, and by removing the non-core item, the company has given its consent to the change.

The company has made a significant improvement in its reseller account as well. Gossimer reseller account offers a comprehensive package to company’s resell partners. Gossimer also offer a customized website to each reseller that will host reseller’s brand identity only. The company will work in the background, and will allow the resellers to take control of the things on their websites.

Our Gossimer CEO, Marvin Dreyer, was interviewed by the Web Host Directory team on February 16, 2009. He had plenty of great things to say, but it left us piqued for more.
