We all do a lot many things to pull people to our blogs, websites, and online stores in a hope that some of them will act and buy the product you are selling, or click the links on your website or fill the form you want them to fill. But, it often happens that people come, browse and go without taking any action whatsoever, other than clicking the close button or typing another URL. This is a cause of worry for all webmasters who face this every day.
There are many things that you can do to improve the conversion rate – that ranges from big changes to small tweaking. In this article, I will tell you about 3 such things. The things I am going to discuss may look like simple tweaking, but they have immense effect on the conversion rate of your website. I will suggest to not mess up with the following principles, should you want visitors to take desirable action.
Do not keep prices, taxes, fines, interests, etc., hidden by a link. Tell your users how much will he be charged and for what. Do not bury the details in a link. You should be transparent in your dealings —particularly financial dealings — and tell your visitors upfront what he will be paying to use your services.
Send periodic reports to everyone whom you bill monthly. Tell them what you are billing them for in each of your mail. If they are paying you then they deserve a monthly statement as well. I am not asking you to send a printed statement or bill every month. An email will do the trick.
If sending mails out to people is going to make them stop paying you then rethink about your product and redesign it.
Do not just make it easy to quit, but tell your buyers as well. They should know that they will not be trapped in the system forever if they subscribe once. Tell them you do not have any intention to have unsatisfied customer.
If you can manage these three things well then you will see a sharp rise in the number of people taking the action you want them to take.

Yes! I am in a mood to confront whoever and whatever passes me for a search engine. Indeed, it is not just the Google that is stupid. Every darn search engine on the planet is stupid. They do not know what the heck a web site is about. They do not have any idea what a good content is, and what does filler words mean. They even are blind and deaf. They cannot see the information-packed podcasts that you have created, or see the cool videos you have made. STUPID!
And it is to satisfy the whim of these stupid power hucksters that we need to SEO our website.
I wish how easy life would have been, if only Google had not been stupid—I do not care if others are stupid as well because Google is what most of the people use. If it was intelligent and could go through my content and perceive the quality and intention then it would not have mattered if Yahoo, Bing, Ask, and other search engines can do so or not. But, each one of them is stupid.
So how to impress this stupid fella?
Write a complex stuff and you have already confused Google. I bet on this. Try writing things that are too complex full of encoded and cryptic language understanding which is a hallmark of intelligence, and it will fail to rank you.
So what to do?
STUPID! Can’t it see it on its own?
No. it can’t because search engines are stupid, and Google is the most. Many smart people among us fail to recognize this fact and they end-up creating a website that will please the delectable senses of a smart fella.
Think Simple. Think stupid!
Remove anything from your website that needs second thought. Do not complicate the codes. Better still, do how this stupid fella (Google) wants you to do. Do not try anything fancy, it will not get it. Why waste time? Do as it asks you to do.
STUPID powerful Google!
