In the last part of the series, I told you how important it is for you to be a god entertainer, a good talker in order to give friendly face to your blog. In this part, I will tell you what more you can do with your writing to make people flock around your blog.
If you do not have an about page on your blog then do write it. It will work like your business card in informing your reader about who you are, and will work like your personal marketing expert that will tell you what you believe in, and what you don’t. It will also tell your visitors what to expect from your blog. In short, without about page your visitors do not know who you are, what you do, and why you are here.
I am not talking about self-help stuffs here; by inspiration post I meant write a post that different bloggers link to. A blogger only links to stuffs that inspires him, entertains hi, or excites him. You need to build either of the three in your post, if you want to see any real result.
I don’t say grammar is all crap, but I do say that good grammar will never make you a good writer who affects the reader. Good grammar at best will make you a writer who do not commit any grammatical mistakes, and mark my words, which means boring writing. Sticking to grammar is good, only till the time it does not kill the real fun of your article. Having said that I would emphasize the importance of re-reading your post before hitting the publish button in your blog.
Always remember, no one likes a friend who is never wrong. They want real people as friends who sometime err, and at others fall too. Your goal is to be that.

Presentation is important. How you present yourself will decide how people will perceive you. And believe me know one likes to befriend people who do not conduct them smartly. In this article I will talk about presentation part of a blog.
A blog design plays a very important role in making your blog look good. You should not mess with the design part of your blog. Hire a designer and get a custom theme for your blog. It will make your blog look different, and as they say it, looks matter.
If you are just starting out then you may not have the budget for hiring a designer to design a cool theme for your blog. If this is the case then at least buy a professionally designed theme for your blog. I will not recommend going for any free themes, as they are bad-looking or overly used.
It is not just the content of the post that matters, but it is the way it is presented. Use image, table, graphs, videos, and presentations etc., to make your post appear cool. In the text-only posts as well, you can craft paragraphs in such a way that it looks cool. You can use bullets, nested headings, etc., to achieve this purpose.
Before I talk about anything else in the series—which actually I am tempted to do—you should apply these tips in your blog. Go ahead and get a professional theme and also create a simple post. I will wait till you are done with that.
Word of caution: Do not waste inordinate amount of time on searching for a web designer or a professionally designed blog theme. Overdoing kills the joy.
