Presentation is important. How you present yourself will decide how people will perceive you. And believe me know one likes to befriend people who do not conduct them smartly. In this article I will talk about presentation part of a blog.
Get a professional designed blog theme
A blog design plays a very important role in making your blog look good. You should not mess with the design part of your blog. Hire a designer and get a custom theme for your blog. It will make your blog look different, and as they say it, looks matter.
If not, buy a professional theme
If you are just starting out then you may not have the budget for hiring a designer to design a cool theme for your blog. If this is the case then at least buy a professionally designed theme for your blog. I will not recommend going for any free themes, as they are bad-looking or overly used.
Post Format
It is not just the content of the post that matters, but it is the way it is presented. Use image, table, graphs, videos, and presentations etc., to make your post appear cool. In the text-only posts as well, you can craft paragraphs in such a way that it looks cool. You can use bullets, nested headings, etc., to achieve this purpose.
Before I talk about anything else in the series—which actually I am tempted to do—you should apply these tips in your blog. Go ahead and get a professional theme and also create a simple post. I will wait till you are done with that.
Word of caution: Do not waste inordinate amount of time on searching for a web designer or a professionally designed blog theme. Overdoing kills the joy.

In the last article, I told you about how Google slaps its customers (PPC advertisers), and how unfair this practice is. But as noted in the article, this is Google’s world and we have to live by the rule set by Google, so until some other forces come to our rescue, we have to comply and find way of not getting slapped by the search giant.
Google justifies its action of levying the maximum penalty (by charging the maximum possible rate) on advertisers that do not meet their guidelines by saying they are working for bettering the usage experience of average users.
In this article, I am going to share some of the industry’s secret that top marketers use to avoid Google Slap. After reading this article, you will also be on the same footing with online marketing big shots, at least in terms of avoiding Google Slap.
5 ways to avoid Google Slap
- Add content to your landing page. You can do this by replacing bullets that you have used in the page by paragraphs.
- Start a blog and write some content or get some articles from article directory. Add at least 2 links to your landing page in this blog.
- Add outgoing links on your landing page, possibly to a high ranking page. You can also add links to your blog. Add link at the bottom of the blog in footer, to avoid traffic leak. Make the size of the outgoing anchor text smaller.
- Add an XML sitemap. Also add an HTML sitemap in the footer.
- If you send out e-mail newsletters then add them as a content page to your landing page via sitemap.
- Make sure all on-page SEO techniques have been properly used. Anchor texts should also be SEO-friendly.
